Revise & Shine
Formally trained. Practically obsessed.
For 20+ years, I’ve taken rough drafts, clunky decks, and tangled content and handed them back clearer, sharper, and still sounding like you. Bring it to me unfinished. I’ll take it from there.
A note for colleagues & past clients: Revise and Shine is the new home for the editing and content work I’ve been doing all along. Same me, same standards, new name. If you know someone whose content is suffering from too little time and too much to do, I’d love an introduction. Refer someone →
Sound familiar?
You know it isn’t right.
You’ve run out of the time (and patience) to fix it.
Most people find me at one of those moments. If any of these sound a little too familiar, you’re in the right place.
It’s due tomorrow, but it’s still off.
You’ve read it so many times the words have stopped meaning anything. You can feel it isn’t landing, but you can’t see why anymore. You need fresh, expert eyes now, not next week.
You’ve rewritten it four times.
The deck, the page, the announcement—and somehow each version is a little worse. Another rewrite isn’t the answer. It’s someone who can figure out what you meant and make it deliver.
The content has gone rogue.
What started as a few pages is now a sprawling library nobody can keep straight—different voices, no plan, no time to impose one. You need a structure and a person to hold it together.
The AI draft falls flat.
It’s grammatically fine but completely lifeless—the same flat voice as every other company’s. You need it to sound like you again, which is the one thing the tools can’t do. But I can.
Great content doesn’t have to be on your to-do list.
Most content problems aren’t really content problems—they’re finishing problems. The ideas are there. The expertise is there. What’s missing is someone to take all of it and make it land: clear, polished, published, actually working. That’s where I come in. Whether you’re starting from a blank page or cleaning up an AI draft, I take it from rough copy to final published piece so you can get back to the work only you can do.
AI gives you words. I give you content that actually connects.
What’s covered
01 · Editing
Clear, correct, & unmistakably you
Copy, line, developmental, and substantive editing, proofreading, fact-checking, and AI-draft cleanup. I catch what’s awkward, unclear, inaccurate, or just not you and fix it without turning your writing into something generic.
02 · Formatting & Design
Looks as good as it reads
Professional presentation with no sign of AI: decks, documents, social posts, and branded assets built to match your audience and destination.
03 · Publishing
From finished to found
Getting good content published is only half the job. I handle the practical stuff that comes next: scheduling, SEO, newsletter prep, and making sure everything gets where it needs to go across platforms.
04 · Content Management
Keeping all the pieces moving
I manage the moving parts behind your content, from coordinating writers and maintaining the editorial calendar to keeping workflows organized and your CMS up to date. The goal is simple: fewer loose ends and less for you to keep track of.

I have a network
If you need something I don’t do—design, PR, SEO, development—I’ve spent years building a network of people I trust. Just ask. I probably know someone.
Who this is for
I work with business owners, independent professionals, and authors who know their content matters and want it finished by someone who gets it. By the project or on retainer, at any level.

Let it shine.
Bring it to me unfinished—the rough draft, the deck that isn’t landing, the content library that got away from you. I’ll tell you honestly what it needs.
